This course caters for participants who have no prior knowledge of computerised accounts and who would like to pursue a career in this field. The course will start by creating and showing users how to install and configure SAGE Accounts before setting up a new company in a package.

The participant will learn how to set up nominal accounts, ledgers & records, completing every-day tasks such as setting up customer & supplier Records, batch data entry of supplier and customer invoices, payments and receipts, Statements, Reports & Invoices, Bank Reconciliation and VAT reconciliation.

Learners will also learn how to set up back-up and data security and deal with errors with connection.

SAGE

Aim: This aim of the Basic SAGE accounting software training course is to give participants the skills & knowledge to accurately and efficiently manage money by simplifying the process of making payments and tracking accounts.

Delivery:  The SAGE training course is structured with the use of a power-point presentation, workbook material and each participant will have hands-on SAGE computer practice.

What award do I receive? After successful completion of SAGE training course each learner will receive a certificate of attendance from Castleblayney Community Enterprise.

Course Duration: The SAGE Training course is delivered over a 6 half days, two mornings a week from 10am -2pm

Entry Requirements: Good command of the English language with a proficient level of literacy.
